Group Counseling

Do you get nervous when you have to confront someone? Are you always worried about offending people? Do you seem to follow peer pressure and not rock the boat? Or do you need a safe place to learn how to deal with your problems?

Many times, the issues that affect us occur in our families and relationships. Group therapy is a place where we can begin to process our issues and look at our relationship patterns. In the group setting, we can begin to practice the skills we learn in individual therapy in a safe place. We can learn and grow from our group interactions and allow them to inform us about our relationships outside of the group. Then, we can exercise those skills outside and begin to have more fulfilling everyday relationships.

Process group for anxiety and depression meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The group is private pay only and requires an eight session commitment and pre- interview by one of the group co-leaders, William Hemphill, LPC or Dr. Jessica Buccholz, Psy D.

Location: Pathway Center for Psychotherapy 4530 South Berkeley Lake Rd. Norcross, GA 30071

NOTE: During COVID pandemic, the group is meeting online via video conference. Please contact William Hemphill at 678-684-0397 for more details.
